Dr. Ted Helvoigt
President
Dr. Ted Helvoigt has nearly 30 years of professional experience in economic and statistical analysis and modeling and has applied these methods in a wide range of projects dealing with natural resources, healthcare, energy efficiency, and regional economic forecasting. Ted has designed and conducted technical analysis and modeling for dozens of projects throughout the US and has led numerous studies that required creative application of sophisticated analytical methods to answer complex research questions. Ted is a former faculty member at the University of Oregon, where he taught applied regression analysis and other statistical methods.

Tami Rasmussen
Senior Vice PresidentÂ
Tami Rasmussen has more than 25 years of experience managing energy program evaluations nationwide including distributed energy resources across all customer sectors. She has deep expertise designing and conducting research with low-income and disadvantaged communities, as well as with market transformation programs. Tami has also directed numerous portfolio evaluations, large-scale data collection projects, and on-site studies in support of a broad range of energy efficiency and distributed energy resource programs. She is known for her extensive knowledge of the energy industry and for her ability to understand how each project fits in the context of the regulatory environment.

Kevin Price
Vice President
Kevin Price has broad experience in residential and commercial energy efficiency program process and impact evaluations, as well as market research projects. He has successfully led and contributed to evaluations for clients throughout the US and in Canada, focusing on residential and commercial lighting, direct install programs, residential water heating, on-site metering, emerging technologies, market transformation efforts, and innovative program design. He has also led workshops for the California investor-owned utilities and the California Public Utilities Commission. Kevin is adept at project management, survey design, directing data analysis, and the development of geographic information systems for sampling and spatial data analysis.

Martha Wudka
Vice President
Martha Wudka has experience conducting energy efficiency program evaluations and market assessments for a variety of clients and is well versed in project management (including complex projects with multiple stakeholders), research design, reporting, data analysis, in-depth interviews, and survey development. Martha regularly manages survey efforts including phone interviews, on-site visits, and online interviews across the residential and commercial sectors. She has presented research findings at trade conferences including the International Energy Program Evaluation and the Behavior, Energy and Climate Change Conferences.

Sarah Monohon
Principal Consultant
Sarah Monohon has expertise in regression analysis and economic impact assessments, analyzing survey data, and conducting energy savings validation and verification activities to provide insights to energy efficiency programs. She has applied these skills to projects ranging from utility program evaluations to Medicaid forecasting. Sarah has extensive experience using the R programming language to develop and implement analytical solutions for Evergreen projects, including data cleaning and analysis, complex statistical modeling, and the development of informative analytical tools including interactive graphics and dashboards.

Gerardo Valle
Principal Consultant
Gerardo Valle has more than 20 years of IT experience with a focus on the energy efficiency industry. He has extensive experience in database design, implementation, and administration, as well as systems and process automation. Gerry has developed a variety of software tools that have allowed clients to administer energy programs, manage resource allocation, track energy audits and measure installations, analyze energy usage, and calculate energy savings. He is a full-stack engineer with more than 15 years of experience developing internal and customer-facing web applications, from UI/UX to server configuration and deployment.

Kirsten Shelton
Principal Consultant
Kirsten Shelton manages Evergreen's new Alaska office. Kirsten specializes in economic impact studies and community and economic assessment, planning, and development. With more than 20 years of experience in the field, Kirsten manages projects for clients from project conception through final delivery, including communications, team resource allocation, and accountability. Born and raised in Juneau in a commercial fishing family, she has studied and supported most Alaska business sectors, including mariculture, fisheries, education, health care, mining, non-profits, and finance. Kirsten’s deep commitment to public engagement includes communication with stakeholders through surveys, focus groups, public meetings, interviews, strategic planning, and facilitated sessions.

Dulane Moran
Principal Consultant
Dulane Moran has more than 20 years of experience in energy program evaluation, market research, and strategic program consulting. Prior to joining Evergreen, Dulane spent five years at Cadeo and four years at the Northwest Energy Efficiency Alliance, where she was the Principal for Market Research and Evaluation. Dulane's projects regularly involve in-depth interviews, survey data collection, focus groups, and other forms of data collection and thematic analysis, and she leads efforts to embed cultural competence in research approaches and partners with emerging disadvantaged businesses.

Mitt Jones
Principal Consultant
Mitt Jones draws on more than 15 years of experience in evaluation, engineering, and building performance assessment to ensure that all aspects of each project meet client and stakeholder needs—from workplan and sampling plan development through data collection, analysis, and reporting. Prior to joining Evergreen, Mitt held senior positions at Illume Advising, Cadeo Group, and Cadmus, where he led and contributed to impact evaluations, demand-side management portfolio evaluations, field measurement projects, and large baseline studies.

Hans Lehndorff
Senior Consultant
Hans Lehndorff has extensive expertise in billing regression analysis, sampling methods, impact analysis, analyzing survey data and advanced metering infrastructure (AMI) data, and quality control of energy monitoring data. He is skilled in qualitative and billing analysis, including developing energy consumption load shapes for commercial customers using AMI data. Hans has also developed sample design for on-site evaluations of energy efficiency programs.

Kayla Banta
Senior Consultant
Kayla Banta has strong experience in data analysis and in conducting interviews with a variety of market actors including local government and community organizations, and has also assisted with sample design, research, and analysis of participant survey data. In addition to conducting in-depth interviews, Kayla has recruited participants and screened applicants for various evaluations and studies at Evergreen Economics.

Blake Killingsworth
Consultant
Blake Killingsworth has strong analytical writing and research skills as well as an extensive history of working with teams to gather, conduct quality checks on, and leverage large amounts of data. He is particularly skilled in gathering and analyzing quantitative data, including load shape, cost-effectiveness, and survey analysis; he has also led survey recruitment and distribution efforts. Blake also has expertise in conducting research to assess and improve energy efficiency programs and renewables projects.

Liandra Chapman
Consultant
Liandra Chapman has conducted data and load shape analysis, particularly on clothes washers and TVs, and has assisted with research on low-income households; she also has experience with data collection and quality control. Liandra has also assisted with recruiting study participants and conducting interviews. She has worked with a variety of software packages including R.

Charles Hanks
Senior Analyst
Charles has experience using data analytics to inform decision-making in the public sector. He brings his skillset in R and SQL for data wrangling, statistical analysis, and data visualization to transform raw data into actionable reports. His expertise extends to predictive modeling and automation using Python to streamline processes and optimize resource management. He leverages this technical ability alongside strong communication skills to contribute to a variety of data analysis and market research tasks at Evergreen.

Alex Weirth is a highly skilled professional specializing in data analysis and reporting. He demonstrates a proven ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams including with consulting engineering firms to help streamline project planning and research execution. Alex is experienced in cleaning and processing large sets of data to enable project managers to make immediate, informed decisions.

Julia Mycek

Julia Mycek is a well-rounded analyst with extensive knowledge in statistical methods, econometrics, data literacy, environmental law, environmental economics and polity, and natural resources and policy. Through her work as a researcher, Julia is experienced in analyzing quantitative and qualitative data, policy research and analysis, and operational policy.

Ally Finkbeiner
Analyst
Ally brings a strong foundation in environmental economics and quantitative research to Evergreen, with demonstrated experience that includes ecological and economic analysis. She has a proven ability to translate complex environmental data for institutions involved in driving policy. Ally's experience includes statistical analysis, leveraging GIS applications for environmental valuation, and economic modeling.

Israel Montiel
Analyst
Israel has demonstrated strong capabilities in consolidating disparate data sources and analyzing complex data, managing projects, creating accessible visualizations and dashboards, and translating complex technical information for diverse audiences including organization leadership and community organizations. His expertise spans data analysis, statistical analysis, database design, and query optimization for large-scale datasets.

Kara Hardman
Analyst
Kara is a focused, well-rounded pragmatic thinker with strong quantitative and analytical abilities, skilled at bringing in fresh ideas and building sound decision support analysis. She assists Evergreen Economics with a variety of tasks including data analysis, recruiting participants for interviews, and coordinating site visits. She has cleaned and leveraged large datasets, performed linear regressions, and proposed interventions.

Nick McMillan
Editor
Nick McMillan brings strong project management and communication skills to Evergreen Economics, ensuring that all deliverables including reports and proposals meet the high editorial standards required by colleagues and clients. Nick brings these skills from a variety of work experiences including roles at the Corporate Communications and Internet Services Departments at Pacific Gas and Electric (PG&E).

Tricia McCracken

Tricia McCracken has supported the operation and growth of the company in her role managing human resources and providing administrative support, ensuring that Evergreen operates smoothly and efficiently in support of our clients. She brings a strong and complimentary background of market research knowledge to her position, having worked as a senior research analyst, research manager, and senior account planner in previous roles.

Jenny Fraser
Billing/Invoicing
Jenny Fraser handles invoicing for Evergreen, and knows the ins and outs of working with clients and Evergreen staff to ensure that billing is accurate and timely. Her prior experience successfully and proactively interacting with and developing relationships with clients as a consultant at Evergreen gives Jenny insight into the mechanisms of the contracting and billing processes and enables her to solve issues quickly and accurately.
